A graduate in choral directing and orchestral conducting of the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Christoffer Holgersson began working as a music teacher at Adolf Fredrik’s Music School in 2000. At this school he was appointed conductor of the Adolf Fredrik’s boys’ choir in 2001.
Alongside his work at the Adolf Fredrik’s Music School, Christoffer Holgersson has also been active as a freelance conductor, working with several of the leading professional orchestras and choirs in Sweden. In the beginning of his career he was the artistic director and conductor of Stockholm Chamber Choir and he was also a member of the board of Sweden’s children- and youth choir organization ”UNGiKÖR”. Since 2018 he is the director of Adolf Fredrik Church’s Chamber Choir, Youth Choir, Vocal Ensemble and AF Vocal Consort. In 2012 Christoffer participated with the former Youth Choir in the International Youth Chamber Choir meeting in Usedom which was an important festival for the choir and its following years of development.
