The Girls Choir Canzone is the choir of the Haapsalu Cultural Centre and was founded in 2001 by Ulrika Grauberg. The singers are taught by Ulrika Grauberg, Eneken Viitmaa and Teele Takjas. The repertoire of Canzone is diverse and ranges from medieval canons to modern arrangements of pop hits, works by Estonian composers, Estonian folk music arrangements, gospel music, spirituals and choral music with jazz motifs. Canzone has its permanent place in the cultural scene of Haapsalu. In addition to regular concerts in its home country of Estonia, the choir can look back on performances in Finland, Denmark, Italy, China, Spain and Greece as well as numerous successful competitions. The choir also wowed audiences on Usedom at the International Youth Chamber Choir Meeting in 2016.
