Girls Choir of Goethe-Gymnasium Demmin

The girls choir of the Goethe Grammar School Demmin is formed on various occasions from the female voices of the youth choir. The Music Grammar School was founded before the fall of the Wall and celebrates its 35th anniversary in the coming school year 2018/19. After passing the aptitude test, musically gifted boys and girls have the opportunity to receive a comprehensive musical education in addition to their normal academic training. Central to the work in the music branch of the Goethe Grammar School is participation in the choir. Because of the practical application of theoretical knowledge acquired in music lessons, this knowledge is deepened and consolidated. The joy of playing music is in the foreground. Even long after they have graduated, many students like to remember the shared activities such as concerts, competitions and rehearsal camps.
